Dee Ekemode, LPC
Welcome, I'm so glad you're here.
Life can be hard, and sometimes we all need a little support. With years of experience and a heart for helping others, my goal is to empower you to move through life's challenges and toward healing. I believe the real growth happens when you feel truly seen, heard, and supported.
What is my therapeutic approach and styler?
The clinical skills/interventions I use most often are Person centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Informed care, Therapeutic Play, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and being a positive, hopeful and realistic individual.
I am most eager to help children, teens, and adults work through things like anxiety, depression, trauma, anger, and relationship/marital issues.

What can you expect from me as a therapist?
As your therapist, you can expect a safe, non-judgmental, and confidential space where your thoughts, feelings, and experiences are honored and respected. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs and goals. I am here to help you explore challenges at your own pace, gain deeper insight, and develop tools to navigate life with greater clarity and confidence. You can count on me to show up with empathy, honesty, and consistency as we work together toward meaningful and lasting change. Therapy isn’t always easy, but you won’t have to face it alone — I’ll be right here with you every step of the way.
If you're thinking about starting therapy, I'd love to connect. The first step can be tough-but it can also be the beginning of real change.
